DesignHub ("the App," "we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Information you provide directly, such as your name or username, email address, first name, last name, password, and account details. You may also choose to provide additional profile information including a bio, profile picture or avatar, phone number, address, and design preferences.
1.2 Design & Creative Information
Information you create and upload, such as room designs, design boards, furniture selections, color scheme preferences, room type selections, and any notes or specifications you provide for design generation. This information is used only to provide app features and generate personalized design recommendations.
We do not sell or monetize your design data.
1.3 Device & Usage Information
We may automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, usage statistics, crash logs, login history, and interaction patterns with the App. This helps improve performance, security, and user experience.
1.4 Subscription & Purchase Data
If you purchase credits or make purchases through the App, payment processing is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not receive your full payment information. We may retain transaction records and purchase history for account management purposes. E-commerce transactions may also be processed through Shopify integration, and your purchase data may be shared with Shopify as necessary for order fulfillment.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information to operate and improve the App, analyze your design preferences and selections, deliver personalized room designs and recommendations, generate AI-powered design images based on your specifications, troubleshoot and enhance performance, communicate with you regarding support, updates, and security notices, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising targeting based on your design preferences or personal information.
3. AI Processing & Accuracy
DesignHub uses automated systems, including OpenAI's DALL-E service, to analyze your design preferences and generate room design images. When you request a design, your design specifications, preferences, and descriptions are sent to OpenAI for processing. These AI-generated outputs are for informational and design inspiration purposes only. No information from the App should be considered professional interior design advice, and we recommend consulting with qualified professionals for actual design implementation.
4. How We Store & Protect Data
We use technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for sensitive information, restricted access to data, secure cloud infrastructure through Supabase and our hosting providers, and secure storage of authentication tokens on your device. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and notify you of any legally-required breaches.
We do not sell personal data.
We may share limited information with trusted service providers including Supabase for data storage and furniture catalog management, OpenAI for AI image generation services, Shopify for e-commerce functionality, Stripe for payment processing, cloud hosting providers, and analytics services. We may also share information with legal authorities when required by law, and with partners only with your explicit consent.
Service providers are required to protect your information in accordance with their respective privacy policies and security standards. We do not share your design information or personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Your design boards and room designs are stored until you choose to delete them or until your account is deleted. Transaction records may be retained as required by law or legitimate business needs.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your data, correct inaccurate information, delete your data, withdraw consent, request a copy of your data, and restrict certain processing. You can access, update, or correct most of your personal information directly through your profile settings within the App.
EU/UK users may also exercise GDPR rights, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. California users may have CCPA rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, though we do not sell personal information.
DesignHub is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
The App integrates with third-party services to provide functionality. Supabase is used for data storage and furniture catalog management. OpenAI is used for AI-powered image generation. Shopify is used for e-commerce and product catalog functionality. Stripe is used for secure payment processing. The App may also contain links or integrations with other third-party tools.

10. International Data Transfers
Depending on where you live, your data may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions, including where our service providers operate.
